Holt – an attractive Georgian town with art galleries, antiques, excellent shopping and plenty of places to eat and drink, a wonderful place to spend a few hours.

Historic Houses to visit in the area include Holkham Hall, Blickling and Felbrigg Hall as well as the Sandringham Royal Estate.

Birdwatchers
The bird sanctuaries and marshes at Salthouse and Cley are a must for the enthusiast, a new visitor centre has recently opened. Also Titchwell RSPB reserve is a 45 minute drive away.

 

Golf
Sheringham Links Golf Clubs is within walking distance of Fairlawns. Royal Cromer Golf Course is a short drive and a 9 hole course at West Runton is only 2 miles away. Further afield there is the Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster and Hunstanton Golf club along the coast is about an hour away.

 

Walking
The North Norfolk coastal path stretches 45 miles with spectacular Norfolk scenery; it offers safe and enjoyable walking for both experienced and enthusiastic walkers and those just wanting to amble for a mile or two. We have facilities to store your boots and outdoor gear.
